My dad’s birthday would have been today. He was an architect am many of you know. After his eyes went bad he had to stop this line of work, but he still worked in his workshop as much as he could. It was his passion! I hope he get a birthday cake in heaven. This post is in memory of his birthday, but most of all his life.

So glad you had a good dad you can remember with love and affection. Amazing, too, how we so clearly remember family member birthdays for many years after they have passed.
Your dad is always near and watching over you. I have missed my dad for most of my life since he died when I was only ten. For daddy girls it is a very hard thing to part with their daddys. Virtual hugs to you and Happy Birthday to your dad in heaven above. I think one of the songs in the horror movie Whatever Happened to Baby Jane I’ve written a letter to daddy always makes me cry.

LaJenna, The way I get through is to embrace and remember my Dad’s birthday. Instead of saying today would have been his b’day, say Happy Birthday Dad. It will always be his birthday. Whatever helps you is what you should do.
