Cheese has been around for a very long time, perhaps as long as 8,000 years. It is also quite popular around the world. In fact, the French political leader Charles De Gaulle once quipped, “How can one be expected to govern a nation with 246 kinds of cheese?” His statement was actually understating it. France has a lot more kinds of cheese than that.
American humorist W.C. Fields observed, “The clever cat eats cheese and breathes down rat holes with baited breath.”
Considering its popularity, we have this poll today about cheese.

Love cheese….and it is low carb…so one thing I don’t have to give up. Although, I might have a sensitivity to it. Great poll!
If the sensitivity is to the lactose in the cheese, there are thankfully now over-the-counter medications that can really help with that.
I can eat it but i don’t like it too much.
You don’t like cheese even when it is cooked in other foods?
I like the simple game. c”,)
Yes I love cheese but it doesn’t love me. I have to eat it in moderation, like most things. Gouda is probably my favorite.
Carol, are you lactose intolerant? If so, have you tried using Lactaid?
I love cheese. Good poll
I do too. Our entire family loves cheese.
I love cheese, and love eating all sorts of different cheeses. I like the extra mature, really strong cheeses.
My preference is for Jack, Colby, Cheddar, and Mozzarella cheeses, but we use a lot of cheeses in our cooking.
