5. Nice photo and beautiful leaf. But is it an oak? Looks more like a maple leaf for me – but also not common, so I’m not sure…

   • We do have maples here but have never produced Canada’s maple syrup. To me its an Oak tree but I realise many trees look like Oaks but are related with a different name. We have 2 types in Cornwall park Auckland, European Oak and English Oak. However my parents used to have a tree that looked like an Oak tree but was called a Plain tree.

   • Thanks Kim. Fall is an interesting name we have day light saving. Daylight saving ended about 2 weeks ago, so we put our clocks back an hour in New Zealand. In Spring we put our clocks forward an hour,
     Its always easy to remember Fall back and Spring forward.

     • We set ours up on the same day. and go back in the winter as well. Arizona doesnt do daylight savings time. I wish we didnt. My internal clock gets all wacked out.

       • Totally agree with you. They should leave the clock to its natural hours.
