Eurasian blue tit.
01.01.2018. We are again in the park for a walk, and we start the year with pictures.
At one of the bird feeds we came across several birds, including several Eurasian blue tits.
Eurasian blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus) – the belly is yellow without a black stripe in the middle, the head is light with a black stripe and a blue top. The collar, wings and tail are blue, and the back is yellow-green.
Body length: 10 – 12 cm. Width of the wings: 17 – 20 cm.
Feeds with insects, spiders, fruits and seeds. It inhabits deciduous forests, riparian forests, trees and shrubs in open areas, parks and gardens in settlements.
Breeds in tree hollows. It lays 7 – 16 eggs, one generation a year in the period April-May.
These birds are accustomed to people and do not scare, which helped me to do these, and not just those pictures 😉
Just beautiful birds-notice a nuthatch as well-this great
Amazing bird, very pretty
