Another blast of photos from that initial October visit. Many of the pictures are taken from ground level; a few were taken either from the Customer’s side of the Towers or the MSFT office. The first time I visited the office, it was on the 20th or somewhere in the 20’s floors. During the transition after the initial two visits, the actual office moved to the 35th floor. I still have to say sitting in a building that is made of metal during a thunderstorm is interesting.
As the project began to take shape, I started working not only with my teammates but with the partner that was going to help us. FPT out of Vietnam was the partner. First of all, I have had the pleasure of working with FPT since the Petronas migration. They are one of the most professional and excellent partners I have ever worked with. Their knowledge of the customer helped us as we began to build out the future solutions.
During the first visit, in conjunction with the photos I am sharing I stayed dint he Mandarin Oriental hotel KL. It, the hotel, is right by the KLCC, and the Petronas towers. On the second visit and third and fourth visits I actually stayed at the JW Marriott hotel. But that first trip I stayed at the Mandarin Oriental. One of the best Japanese Restaruants (amazing Sushi) was located on the ground floor of the hotel. Plus the breakfast buffet was beyond amazing!
