I painted my gray fireplace screen and tools with heat resistant white spray paint.
We hardly ever us the living room, and my office with french door opens into it. I do on the other hand practice a lot of yoga and occasionally teach!
Chandelier from Restoration Hardware.
I moved all the furniture out of the living room… VIOLA!!!
Unused living room… meets yoga room!
We hardly ever sat and ate in our breakfast room. I put the kitchen table in the basement and some of the living room furniture into breakfast room!!!
Repurposed breakfast room meets new sitting room.
Restoration Hardware chairs, chandelier and candleholders.
Some views of kitchen from our new lounging room aka ~ old breakfast room.
From Lounge area to new yoga space… french doors open into my office.
Notice the grey ceiling! Grey is supposedly good at neutralizing bad energy… calming.

Farm sink, Restoration Hardware light fixtures and bar seats.
I enjoy the purple dining room. The table and chairs are from 1960.
My office is red… the color of passion… love… and healing. I love the Restoration Hardware chandelier. It reminded me of a wind chime I had that was destroyed in a fire at our home.
Sebby… the Cockapoo chillin!
The trunk in this picture is also Restoration Hardware.
My house was struck by lightning and completely gutted in August 2014. I wanted to redecorate with healing colors.
I am rather a homebody and enjoy my spaces! Share more later! xoxo
Namaste friends!
You are the lucky recipient of random comment number 179 “One day I will be thankful that my child is strong-willed, but that will not be today.”
Lovely home.
thats very beautiful…
Beautiful house! How long have you been living there for now?
We have lived in our home 16 years I believe. It will be 3 years in August since our fire that was due to a lightning strike. We were out of our house 7 months when it was gutted and remodeled inside. It has taken 2 or so years to completely fix details of the house. It was a very sad/difficult situation.
Thanks for reading my blog.
You’re welcome Missy! Where did you stay while the house was getting fixed up?
We stayed ten days in a hotel and 6 months in a condo. It was very stressful.
