The only opportunity to have champagne in the present circumstances could perhaps be when they declare the world to be free of the Coronavirus.
We are all in a state of lockdown. Here it will be till May 3 but no guarantee that they will not extend it. There is very little celebration possible in a lockdown state. With shops closed and online shopping having come to a standstill there is little hope that we can get anything of our choice. I make do with so many things.
Liquor shops are closed and I wonder how those who cannot live without liquor are managing leave alone getting a bottle of champagne.

Are you missing liquor in the lockdown state?

The lockdown hasn’t yet been implemented. Things are going as usual though learning institutions were closed.
Most countries are going through this stifling experience. Good you are spared.
Everyone is buying it online. Liquor sales increased 800% online over the last month.
I do not think in India that facility is available
The people buy it directly from where the liquor is made. For example, Imperial Spirits makes liquor in India. Instead of buying it from the liquor stores because the stores have been closed by Modi, people in India have been going to the Imperial Spirits website and buying it directly from them or buying it directly from Amazon.
I buy stuff regularly online through Amazon who is now accepting orders only for the essentials and that too with far too delayed delivery. Liquor is not on the list.
Lovely golden picture. I don’t know if ours are closed or not. I am not much of a drinker. I do like pina coladas and daiquiris though. I am still enjoying my back yard, and staying at home. I know you are as well.
Lockdown has never affected me as I am not a social animal (lol)
Here in Florida, we can get liquor in supermarkets and mostly beer and wine in convenience stores. I remember having champagne I always enjoyed watching the bubbles in the glass more than taking a sip
There is no occasion to celebrate anything here as of now.
