I am enjoying the “Spotlighting OurMembers” post series. Please don’t think me vain or conceited but for this post, I decided to shine the spotlight on myself. I have been active at this site for about 3 years. This is my second account. Second? Yes. Let me tell you my story.
My first account was deleted at my request. It was for personal reasons. Fortunately for me, I have online friends who have been following my work-at-home journey and are giving me moral support every step of the way. They believed! They believed that this site had potential and that, unlike similar sites, that disappeared as quickly as they appeared, the Virilyadministrators and staff had a goal to make this site LIVE!! They believed that if I did not embrace the opportunity I would miss out on a good thing!
My online friends convinced me to come back and that has been a very good thing for me.
This is the first blogging community I joined that allows publishing in a variety of formats. Discussion posts, quizzes, polls, lists, etc. I was happy to experiment with different ways to present my content. Since I enjoy writing “freestyle”, which basically means I write about all kinds of stuff, I use the Collections feature to organize my content under general topics.
The purpose of this post is twofold.
(1) Another member mentioned that we should thank the site owners for working hard to keep the site up and running. I agree.
(2) As this year is 2020, and my plans are to continue here, I wanted to reflect back on what I have been doing here.
My experience at this site has not only been productive and profitable but extremely pleasant. I thank the members and the site owners for this life and work experience. I hope that Virily enjoys continued success. I appreciate and thank the staff who work so diligently behind the scenes to keep the site going. My profile shows that so far I have published almost 200 posts. It was difficult to narrow my selection down to 3 posts. But here they are.

i suspect it is an interesting problem. I know some of the people we both know, hate Virily!
Yes. Some became frustrated with this platform early on and they left. So they don’t have good memories to share when others ask them I suppose. I am in another community and those members are upset because they hear good things about Virily but apparently they can’t register. Did Virily stop registering new members again? I know they have done that in the past. Those folks keep hoping Virily will open its doors.
sadly yes, we do not have new members right now. I wish we could, there are many interested in joining.
we have issues beyond the platform that prevent them for adding new members.
