In the United States of America, only one percent of all of the farms are certified to be organic. However, all certified farms that are organic are technically not an organic farm.
An organic farm is a farm that uses natural seeds, uses natural fertilizer like manure, and uses non-synthetic pesticides. There is a list of pesticides that they can utilize. The problem is that an organic farm does not profit like a conventional farm because the synthetic pesticides protect the crops better. However, synthetic pesticides are linked to cancer.
Although organic foods are a niche within the nutrition realm, but since every organic farm is allowed to use pesticides, none of the food grown in the USA is technically organic.
