There was a time when our garden flourished with seasonal flowers – larkspur, lady lace, flox, pinks, hollyhocks, balsam, and last but not the least sunflowers.
Sunflowers come in different sizes where even the plants have their own sizes. I had a dwarf sunflower plant but the sunflower was huge. The tall sunflower plants have both the large and small variety.
I am looking for a tall plant with large sunflowers. They will surely add colour and show to our garden. These days we do not have nurseries that have seasonal flower seeds. I will have to go online but what we get online is not reliable.
I am in a quandary
-
Do you have nurseries that market seasonal flower seeds?
-
Yes
-
We have quite a few shops where we can buy everything for the garden.
Our nurseries used to be loaded with seeds before.
I love sunflowers, they look so cheerful.
I want them in my garden and will try and see what I can get the seeds
Yes we do have good nurseries here that market seasonal flower
Sunflowers grow very well with us and we have many types … from decorative to industrial …. sunflower reminds me of the sun
Our cooking medium is sunflower oil
Good luck in finding a tall one like you are looking for.
Thanks. I have not given up.
