Rain is called God’s mercy, but in the winter, rain is a great blessing, especially for the people of plains areas of Pakistan. Because December and January are the two months in which most of the plains of Punjab are covered by severe fog and the fog is so deep that nothing is visible from a few feet distance. The fog lasts until it rains. As it rains, the fog dissipates and everything looks brand new and beautiful. Last week’s rains brought relief to Punjab’s residents and now they can enjoy sunshine after a long period of one and half month. The picture below is of Lahore which looks clean and beautiful after the rain.
