As a dog lover, I am glad to know that the number of dog friendly mall is growing. There used to be only 2 that I know but now there seems to be more than 10 already in the proximity of our town. It’s a fact that dog lovers are also growing in number.
Our dogs enjoy strolling inside an air conditioned mall especially during summer. But the only requirement is the registration of the dog that it has a certificate of vaccine shots which means the dog is bereft of diseases like rabies. Of course, you have to clean up when the dog makes a mess on the floor.

Our biggest malls are not allowing pets inside. And I agree with this politics. Not because I would not love pets, but for the sanitaria. Not all pets are clean enough to walk near the products. And some people and even children, are afraid of big stranger dogs who walk so close to them.
There are also pet friendly malls. I think it’s good during cold winter.
Yes dogs are allowed in malls in the UK but they are not allowed in many shops unless they are a guide dog for the blind.
I do remember when we had to shift our residence we had to take our dogs by road and whenever we stopped at hotels we took our dogs there and no one objected to it.
