The most anticipated challenge throughout the college basketball regular season is the ACC/Big Ten Challenge. The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and the Big Ten Conference are usually two of the top conferences in college basketball every season because of each conference’s talent and depth. For example, a team from each conference was in the Final Four last season: the champ Virginia (ACC) and Michigan State.
Last season, the challenge ended in a 7-7 tie, which showed that both conferences were the cream of the crop. However, the tie must be broken this season. The ACC holds the all-time series lead at 12-5-3. The fourteen games will be played on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Since the ACC has 15 teams in their conference, Virginia Tech will sit out this year’s challenge.
The best games in the challenge will be Michigan vs Louisville and Duke vs Michigan State on Tuesday and Ohio State vs North Carolina on Wednesday.

my heart says overall the big ten will win but my brain says 1-4 the ACC is better than the big ten. It should be interesting.
IU V. Florida State could be a great game!
If the Big Ten wins both games that are on tonight with Illinois vs Miami and Minnesota vs Clemson, then the Big Ten will win the challenge. Indiana vs Florida State will be a good game. Florida State just beat Purdue over the weekend.
well it is 1-1 so far.
I don’t know – i think the ACC top teams are much stronger.
Michigan is overrated, OSU is good, MSU is way over rated.
I think big ten will win the challenge
I’m going for the Big Ten on this one. Plus, Virginia Tech is the odd team out and they already beat Michigan State.
