My body felt great during this run, despite feeling aches during yesterday’s run after a gym workout that consisted of leg machines. I always try to give myself a few days off post a gym workout that involves leg machines. I do go into the workout with that expectation of aching muscles, so I just east into it in order to prevent injury.

I kept this run short due to the junior high school students coming out for their physical education, despite it being an open community track. I didn’t want to get in their way just as much as I didn’t want them in my way, so I kept this run at 2 miles.

With me having an open day I went for a cycling workout once I made it to my apartment. Since I have Detroit Marathon less than 3 weeks away I feel the need to get in as much as I can in-between my work shift.

Around 3 hours is a good goal for a marathon. It’s crazy that this guy is trying to go under two hours in a couple of weeks – https://www.runnersworld.com/races-places/a28701150/eliud-kipchoge-two-hour-marathon-ineos-challenge/
And I’am quite positive that he will get it. He is by far the fastest along with Kenenisa Bekele
