How little do we realize the meaning of the word eternity! The way to get to heaven is to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. If I understand things correctly, when you find a man or woman who is looking to be rewarded here for doing right, they are unqualified to work for God because if they are looking for the applause of men, looking for the reward in this life, it will disqualify them for the service of God, they are continually compromising the truth.
We must trample the world under our feet if we are going to get our reward hereafter. If we live for God, we must suffer persecution.
