It is difficult for me. Not much know about mudra
yeah, they’re pretty obscure for most of the world’s population
I had to guess each question and I did not guess well… It is an interesting quiz though…
It isn’t like you had any sort of background that would’ve helped with that
1/10
I hope you at least had fun
5/10 Honestly, I got most of them by chance.
Damn good guesses!
5/10 I really Don’t Know about Mudra’s.
Getting half of them right at 4:1 odds is quite good
6/10 not so bad
are you kidding me? that’s outstanding for this quiz
Do not tell the mermaids that I only got 6, then they’ll laugh at me until the earth shakes.
First off, that’s a really good score if you’re not from India. Secondly, mermaids don’t know anything about mudras and I seriously doubt they could beat your score…
Yes, but one of those mermaids has a husband, a teacher who teaches mudra postures.
I know very little about mudras
What’s up, Man? That is our conversation two months ago, and suddenly you continue it?
7 out of 10. Don’t know much about Buddha.
The Official Andrew doesn’t know much about the Buddha but somehow manages to beat everyone anyway because he is the quizmaster
Namaste
got 5 out of 10 right!
That’s a really good score for this quiz
Thank you Alex!
You’re tied for third
4/10 Interesting quiz. Well done!
it was inspired by Howard Faxon’s Morning in the House of Many Buddhas
https://virily.com/art/morning-house-many-buddhas/
Difficult to know which hands you’re talking about when there are several in the picture
Yeah, I tried to pick images where only one hand was making a mudra but you’d be shocked at how difficult it is to make Google search for mudras… Ask it for apana and you’ll be appalled with the results
2/10
Normally I’d tease you for such a low score but this was a tough quiz so I’m just going to say good job
I know nothing about mudras, but it is interesting. One question, Alex: when you mention “Shiva’s/Vishnu’s other right hand”, how do we know which one you mean?
The inside one. The one making a mudra, not holding something…
Ah OK. I thought he could be holding something in his hand and doing a mudra with it too! 😉
To the best of my knowledge a mudra can only be made with an empty hand. They all mean something and when they are holding an object, that is also significant; the object itself implies a meaning
If you know the code, the hands and objects will tell you everything you need to know about whichever incarnation of the god you are viewing
Don’t know much about mudra’s but I got half correctly.
And that meteor was going to hit you but then burned up in the atmosphere. Lightning only strikes around you. Also, I hear you’ve survived the end of the world like six times…
