  1. 2 out of 8. Regarding #3, Wilde died in 1900, so the chances of him making mention of a ‘fancy car’ seem remote (to put it mildly). In fact, the earliest occurrence of this quote appears to be 2006(!). Look: https://quoteinvestigator.com/2015/12/01/lovers/
    Additionally the Dali and Voltaire quotes also appear to be unsubstantiated. Hey but why let facts get in the way of a bit of fun, eh? 😉
