Wow things started early at my house! I got a phone call from someone half asleep that asked me what time it was. It’s 3:07 am, “good morning” and how can I help. (I actually assumed at that early hour it might be someone who needed help.) I didn’t recognize the voice or the number.
“Do you know me?”
“Maybe I do. What is your name?”
“Jeffery J-e-f-f-e-r-y Toliver”
“Humm, I don’t believe I know you. Who were you trying to call?”
“Caleb’s grandma.”
“Oh, I am Caleb’s grandma, how can I help you this morning?”
“Well I want to know if you will bring Caleb to my house to play?’
“Caleb is still sleeping and I don’t live where Caleb lives. I won’t be there today at all. Maybe later today, like around lunch time, you can call Caleb’s Mom and see what she thinks.”
“She thinks I call too much.”
“Well Jeffery, I have to get busy and make some breakfast for the people at my house so I have to hang up now.”
“YOUR ATTITUDE IS UNACCEPTABLE!”
“I am sorry you feel that way, goodbye.”

I do not answer phone calls that have numbers I do not recognize. You handled the situation just right
Well I am finally in so I believe I will leave myself a note to prove I was here and remember this day when strangers called.
