Chicago, Illinois (Edgewater neighborhood)
Nikon Coolpix P7700
The rosebush was in a neighbor’s garden.
Editing was done with ACDSee Ultimate 2019. I converted the foliage to black and white leaving the flower and the sepals as they were. Next I adjusted the lighting and increased the contrast and clarity. Then I increased the saturation of the yellow and green and made the yellow a bit brighter. Lastly I cropped the image to a square format.

Amazing as always, I have done this before but yours is incredible.
Thanks but I have to admit that the improvements in editing software make it easier and easier.
That’s an effective use of the technology.
Thanks. I used to use the effect a lot more often to the point where it was becoming a cliche and I stopped using it, but I thought it worked well with this photo.
Looks great and what ever you did it works well
Thanks, Pamela. I appreciate the feedback.
Nice rose in yellow color.
Thank you, Tiada. I’m glad you liked it.
