Yellow Palomino At Sunrise In Hay-Field

I was completely blown away by this beautiful yellow horse photographed in the dawn light against the yellowed winter field of hay. The palomino is a genetic color in horses and consists of a gold coat and white mane and tail, the degree of whiteness actually varies quite dramatically from bright white to yellow. Genetically, the palomino color is technically created by a single allele of a dilution gene called “the cream gene” working on a “red” base coat.
