Today he is simply full of questions. It is almost like he started thinking last night and wrote a whole bunch of questions that he needs me to answer right now. There are some that really have no answer. He was watching me on the computer and asked: “Why do you always go looking for things that no one comments on?”
“Well, that goes back to teaching school. Children are selfish by nature, it is for their protection. They also have feelings that get hurt. There is always a child or two in every class where the other students give them no positive feedback. As a teacher, you try and get everyone involved in being kind and helping each other be happy and successful. It honestly never works. There are always those who don’t get the love, acceptance, and encouragement they need for their peers. It still breaks my heart.
The same thing happens here. I see a little child inside that adult that could be alone and hurting. I never want anyone to feel that way. Most people who are suffering from that kind of issue don’t talk about it and so it seems like a good idea to practice compassion and be proactive. It could be that a simple comment will make someone take a different direction for the day.”
He said, “That was a long answer.”
So I went to my go-to response. “Probably so.”

I wish I had more time to comment on more posts. I also try to find the ones that are least commented on when time allows. I am an over thinker and it can be a good thing.
I want to thank you sincerely, for commenting. So many times it’s hollow and there are no comments. I know you do more than any of us and today thank you for taking care of me when I really needed a comment.
You are always welcome. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you.
