When it is cold in a tropical country

In our place, the coldest temperature is 20 C on average since this is a tropical country which is warm for 10 months or so. That is why the electric fan is a salient part of the home to at least make life bearable during the hot summer months when the ground is so dry that the heat seemed to be coming from down under.

But in the cold monhts of December and January, the problem is the very cold morning that people are having a hard time waking up, much more a harder time in the bathroom. Having a hot water in the tap is not common so for those who needed a morning bath would use the kettle to get hot water otherwise the freezing tap water can cause hypothermia. I’m not saying that bathing is out of fashion in the cold months.
