I have tried making ice cream with different fruits that grow in our garden with good success. We bought a watermelon and I thought of giving it a try.
I used the usual method but was disappointed with the results. The ice cream did not form. I should have known better. Watermelon is just liquid and obviously it will not form.
But it turned out to be a great smoothie. I had added milk and so it was better than the ordinary smoothie. It is summer here and this smoothie is therefore most welcome.

I usually make a smoothie, I haven’t tried ice cream yet.
I failed attempting to make ice cream with watermelon
I really like watermelon and I will try to make this recipe when we have watermelons.
I failed with the ice cream effort but as a smoothie you can try.
Oh that looks delicious! I have been wanting to pick up a watermelon since it is beginning of watermelon season here. Maybe next week!
It just did not form into ice cream. I should have known.
A smoothie would be cool also! Still delicious!
Next time I will only aim for a smoothie as watermelons have no body to make ice cream (lol)
