Can’t make a great living out of an arid piece of dirt? Think again. This site situated in the country of Jordan, has been known as the Valley of the Moon, it was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site in 2011. Spread over 74,000 hectares.
This extremely arid region is home to ancient archaeological remains which prove that humans used to inhabit the area nearly 12,000 years ago. It is also a popular location for photo-shoots of well-known brands and a site of choice for film location hunters, as several iconic films were shot here, including “Lawrence of Arabia” (1962) and “Star Wars.
