Where I live there is a thriving community of volunteers. The community is small and rural. This has not kept their acts of service strictly here. When things are in tip top shape here they travel together to the city to be a part of their volunteer team.
Our tax system doesn’t take volunteer time into the equation. There are some that believe those hours should be used to set off some tax burden. If you have an opinion about this I would love to hear it.
