This artificial flesh the wound itself can heal.

Australian scientists have developed a kind of aqueous synthetic material in the lab that they describe as natural meat. Because if it is cracked it automatically fills the crack, Just as a human skin has a wound on it, it heals itself.

However, the properties of this new aqueous substance are not just limited to it, it is as durable and strong as real skin, muscle and even bone. It’s basically a lightweight and elastic material called “hydrogel.” However, it is characterized by special chemical workmanship, such as human skin and meat, of which strength and flexibility are the most important.

Unlike other hydrogels, this substance can change its shape.  Therefore, in the future it will be able to develop new types of medical devices and soft robots in addition to wound healing.

This unique material has been developed by experts at the Australian National University, details of which have been published in the latest issue of the Research Journal “Advanced Materials”.
