I never fail to see beauty anywhere I turn. The world is indeed a beautiful place. It would help if we took care of nature like she does for us.
The number of trees being chopped to make way for buildings and roads is alarming. People who chop off trees don’t realize how long it takes to grow one. Living in a hot climate we see the direct impact of this everyday in our lives. The heat is killing, I mean literally. the number of people who die of heat strokes is increasing. Concrete is increasing the temperatures. Open spaces are the lungs of any place and open spaces are becoming fewer.
Trees bring down temperatures, help reduce pollution, add to the positive visual effect, help reduce soil erosion ,improves the ground water table and I can go on and on about it. Yet we pay no heed to all this and make nature pay for our advancement.
The recently conducted study on bird population shows that birds are losing their habitat. We are constantly in conflict with wild animals as we have usurped their territories.
Let’s make the world beautiful, and lets give place for our co inhabitants. Plant more trees, make the Earth greener.

there is such beauty presented by nature. Such peace in the way the world moves around us. i would say that there is much sadness when man and nature are at war.
Sigh.. well said, it is truly sad that we cannot share this planet amicably.
i was thinking about a discussion you and i had before. I often wonder if the reality of where we are is that we’ve created a headlong rush away from nature.
I know my kids don’t like being outdoors. When they both asked for a dog, I made the rule that they had to be outside and walk her every single day.
