The walk on the seashore

After a walk to the pier today we decided to drink coffee in a coffee shop on the seashore. In the cafe, there are men’s affairs: they sit at one bottle of beer all day, looking out the window, discussing passersby and the past year. 

And the TV on the wall shows an old western – and all of a sudden I find myself in the eighties! 

The world has changed very little here, it is in no hurry.

We drank our coffee and walked out the door – we dived into the vortex of affairs again.

I don’t know where it is better: it’s too quiet there, too crazy here.

Or maybe we need this and that?
