The rains destroyed our mango crop

The mangoes were ready for harvesting but due to lockdown our gardener had stayed away.  He came a few days ago and harvested them.  There were a couple of heavy showers rather unseasonal. 

Worms have settled in those mangoes and I doubt if we will get to enjoy any of them. We spotted black spots on the skin and that was an indication that all was not well

Once they turn yellow we will know their plight.  We did open some yesterday and there were worms in them.  I wonder if I will get to taste them this year.  

Despite there being 4 trees I think we will have to buy mangoes this season.
