The privilege of a disabled person

The disabled person is legally called PWD to mean person with disability. They are given some privileges to make their life more enjoyable. For food in the restaurant or fast food, there is a 20% discount and a smaller discount for medicine and groceries. In the queue to the cashier or in any offices like banks, the PWD gets ahead in line as a courtesy. Not to forget, they also get 20% discount in public transport and domestic travels on boats and trains.

The PWD has many types from the cripple who couldn’t walk, the blind called visually impaired and those with hearing problems. Even people with serious heart condition can also qualify in the PWD category. The list is long so for those who needed a PWD card, you can check with your local government.
