Street photography is a very important branch of photography. It captures and isolates brief moments that intrigue us at some point. Normally in street photography, the main subject is man, how it fits in the urban landscape.
Spending a few minutes surrounded by pigeons seems like a precious time when you don’t have a friend to share the bench with. It charges you with positive energy, relaxes you and makes you feel no longer alone. That came to mind when I saw this woman surrounded by pigeons!
I share this picture with Friday in Black and White Challenge.
“Pigeons are gentle and smart and have complex social relationships. Their hearing and vision are both excellent.”Ingrid Newkirk

Impressive picture! Hey… Didn’t the woman ask why you took her picture?
Nope! I asked her to let me take this picture. I couldn’t miss the moment with the three pigeons on the bench!
Does she not ask about what you will do with the photo?
If I see you’ll taking my photo, I will definitely ask, and if you will post it so that my face will go global, I will definitely allow it!
Isn’t Virily a global site? Your face is already a global face!
Will you take my picture and post it? I will allow it!
Your picture can be seen on your proflile. You don’t need another one.
But that is a photo when I was a teenager… now is bit different.
That is a wonderful photo. I have photos of me feeding pigeons but not sitting and some even got up on my shoulders.
Thank you, Sandra. Pigeons have adapted to an urban environment and are unafraid of people. They are very friendly.
Love this photo and yes I do have a special friend.
It is good you have a special friend! Ever since my friend died, my only friend is Maya.
