It is Friday and, as always, this day comes with black and white photos. I don’t often come with black and white landscapes because it takes time, and practice to develop my eye for this type of photography.
When I decide to photograph a landscape in black and white, I don’t focus on color contrast, I focus on tone contrast, because a wider range of tones make a black and white landscape look better.
I still need a little practice to succeed, but it is important that I try!
“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.” – Ansel Adams

Beautiful photos as always. I do not get out enough to see scenery such as this.
Thank you, Carol. I try to go out daily.
These are great. (Have you got your new camera yet?)
Thanks! I try to train myself to “see” in tone and become more creative! My new camera is already almost 10 months old.
