In the picture is a bunch of moringa leaves that I harvested from a nearby tree. There’s a good number of edibles here like that moringa tree, okra plants, native spinach, string beans, sweet potato vines, wild cucumber and many more. Those edibles are growing in the vacant lot just beside the small farm which has crops like corn and papaya.
We are lucky to have those edibles. It is like living in the rural area where the farm produce can supply us of vegetables and other edibles. I hope those plants will remain there or should I say the vacant lot would remain vacant for long.
