The days of the gangsters

If you have heard of the gangster era in the US we also have our own counterpart of gangsters. They are in Manila lording it over to the poor citizens who are scared of them. They extort money and harm those who wouldn’t give. Some notable names are Asiong and Totoy. They are the gangster with their minions who are ready to die for them.

That is past and now the gangsters are those in the government. They are the politicians who engage in graft. They will not admit, of course, but you can imagine how they got filthy rich.
