Here is a picture from my old archives. I had named it the beauty and the beast . That was my first thought when I saw the scene which I then proceeded to capture.
The scene of the crime happens to be a tree orchid bud , which is the beauty , the beast is the villain here the preying mantis and the damsel in distress is a damsel fly I guess.
Sorry I haven’t been to be here more often due to some health issues. I will hopefully be able to respond to all your posts and comments today or tomorrow.

Great capture, praying mantis are brutal
They are brutal indeed. But they are helpful in the garden sometimes.
