I love watching the sky in its different moods, especially the colors of the sky at dawn and sunset. What I love more is taking pictures when the beams of light explode through the clouds. I find it hard to capture the light well but when I do it makes my day.
This is one of the pictures I took hours before a storm. Storms don’t take us by surprise these days because of the weather man’s predictions. However in the past we were always taken by surprise when a storm hit us. The storms of life hit us often when we least expect them.
Weathering the storm and building a life allover again is an art and a science. The art of controlling your emotions and the science of make use of the opportunities that come your way.
Getting back to the subject, the sunbeams the come slanting through the clouds seem to speak to me in a personal way. I always feel like the mercy beams of heaven are upon us. It may not make sense to you but to me it brings me peace and it is often like an answer to my prayer.

Beautiful sky Dawn. Sunshine here. 🙂
I am glad you like it Carol. such pictures make me feel like the light – bright and like the air -weightless.
lookup and what may you see, beyond the sky lies the infinite.
Look inwards and sometimes you can see the reflection of the infinite within.
close your eyes and feel the infinite within your heart!
Haha that is the way I should have put it Doc. Your’re right!!!
It is a lesson that took me a long time to learn. I would like the human condition to come with directions! Perhaps a manual?
These lessons are never learned from manuals, they are life lessons we learn from living and introspection.
Glad you like it, it is one of my favorites.
This is a beautiful picture. Thanks for sharing.
