Sharing a photo of my backyard suet feeder in one of my poplar trees. Today is Nature Tuesday, sharing with the challenge.
Lots of birds enjoy the suet cake. Woodpeckers especially. But other birds come along and take a bite as well. Cardinals as well as mockingbirds enjoy as well.
Have a good day everyone and stay safe and well.

Poplar trees are beautiful trees. I feed the birds in the park. I don’t have a beautiful yard like you.
imagine my confusion. Here I am reading that you are feeding suet. I am wondering why suet needs to eat.
then I read the article and realized it was for the birds.
I have to stop reading headlines!
Ha you are a funny man today. The birds will be on their own soon when the bugs arrive.
-hey I live for comedy!
yeah I have to go fill my feeder again, just one picture that is all I want!
You are very spoiling your birds. ?
I think you are right, if they run out they come to the deck and look towards the window, as id to say, give me food! I will stop when spring gets here.
This suet cake is a real feast for the birds!
It is and I made homemade during the winter. They loved it.
I have only one apple tree planted in my garden and all the others have been dried or swallowed
Maybe you can get more trees.
I used to feed with pinecone feeders during the winter but didn’t have time to do it this year with my mom here with ALZ. I have hung up suet bars in the low branches of our big oak out front.
Good for you and thoughts are with you and your Mom.
