Spicy goat meat dish called Caldereta

Caldereta is the most popular dish of goat’s meat which is spicy and cooked in tomato sauce. The word caldereta means small cauldron which is attributed to the dish because it was usually cooked in a small cauldron. The caldereta dish is not really exotic since it is a common fare nationwide. However, it is quite expensive so the ordinary man turns to beef caldereta instead of goat’s meat caldereta.

The goat is easy to raise although you need a grassland or grazing area since goats prefer the grass that is fresh. Some goat farmers feed their goat with grains and some others give the harvested corn stalks. But whatever the feed given to the goat, it is not costly unlike raising pigs or chickens.
