Is it easier to have a successful site with a smaller focused group of participants? Perhaps a solid small group with great goals and teamwork is just the niche we are looking for! Think about all the great content. I bet you could come up with a group of let’s say 15 creators that you trust, enjoy, learn from, and can have interesting dialogues with. I would guess that if everyone here were to submit a list of 15 names, many of the names would be found on several lists.
The next thing would be what kind of commitment are we willing to give to make things work. Doc is pretty good with the numbers and tech and perhaps he could come up with the numbers. Then the only thing left is our commitment and tenacity to get it done.
We would have to do things like share work, try out new ideas, keep our content positive and relevant, and let the site know what we are willing to do. Would it be easy? No, but anything that is worth it is not easy. Is it doable? I am not sure and still, I think it’s worth thinking about.
I might be out in my own little lifeboat again ~ what do you think?

Just requires commitment and agreement, Each one shares with the other about what they post per week so there is variety and then the interaction between the post I think it can all work very well.
I think there is great value here. I am never very good with plans those. Mine usually fall flat. The good thing is that I have grown used to it.
I am not sure the three of us are enough to keep things going. I only count as 1/2 a person because I am overwhelmed with illness and Bro. I would love to think we have a home, but I feel like we are afloat in the lifeboat. I wonder if anyone can pluck us out!
first off, as a member of the community, i am proud to be here.
I wish to keep this community going. I know that I was extremely close to a couple of authors on Niume (Carol T and the Pixie) whose writings I still read every day! I am really close to several folks here as well in this community.
We will stay a community regardless of where we post. But, you are right now is the time to bail the water from the boat.
Well, I have a bucket and I just need some ideas on how to bail it out. I really do try to be teachable.
i posted some initial ideas yesterday still thinking through some others.
Sure it could work with enough willing to participate.
So Carol DM, what number do you think we would have to get to make it viable.
