Nature always has a way of communicating with me, I often feel as one in nature.
I shared a lesson learned yesterday. Here it is if you missed it:
Buds Were Waiting ~ Lessons of Nature
Today is about my smoke bush. The leaves are a beautiful burgundy.
And the whispers of smoke can be seen in the blooms.
But you must wait. Be patient. The blooms do not appear at first. Weeks after the leaves.
Waiting is always worth it. My lesson learned of nature today.
Thank you so much for reading.

This smoke bush reminds me of a similar plant that used to bloom in my home town.
It;s been a while since I’ve seen it.
Maybe it was a smoke bush, with a different name perhaps. I love the one and the burgundy leaves.
Thank you for the explanation. It really has a special flower.
You are welcome, I need to share the entire hedge.
when we open our hearts to nature, we let the world in!
So true Doc, and that is what I do every day.
it is so critical – thanks for sharing another view of nature for all of us!
So welcome, I plan to share more of the full plants as many are not family with the ones in my yard.
we need a map of Dustin’s Garden 🙂
Such a gorgeous plant and a wonderful photo!
Thanks, I need to take a full photo, it is a nice bush and has to be cut back soon. I love the little blooms.
They are really interesting. You have some great foliage and plants.
Thanks, I like colors and contrast in the garden.
A beautiful plant. I see her for the first time. I can’t wait to see the flower. 😊
Thanks, I will have to photograph the entire bush to show you next time.
The blooms you see are the flower. That is why it is called a smoke bush.
They are tiny little blooms.
