The phrase.. Slow as Molasses is an American idiom for something that is painfully slow. Its history is related to the Great Molasses Flood on 15th January, 1919.
Molasses is liquid but it is a very thick, viscous liquid. When you go to pour it it moves verrrrry slowly. If you chill it molasses hardly moves at all or just plain does not move.
So molasses in the middle of winter, well, you get it, right?

I may be molasses in reality though I would like to see myself as water.
Ha! I was talking about how slow the site has been.
I know Carol. Could not help compare molasses with myself when you explained the viscous nature of the fluid.
Yes it was going pretty slow!
Sorry, I really do not know what you wanted to say … I apologize
The site is moving extremely slow today, I can barely maneuver around.
can you share anything with g+? all my links have been invalid since yesterday
I did not try Alex as it was moving too slow to barely comment. Glad to see I am not the only one and this was not as useless as others may think to post about.
I haven’t been able to share anything on g+ for three days now
I do not even know what’s going on … I already thought it was my computer’s fault
No it is not your computer my friend.
