I made this photo on Lanzarote island.
Lanzarote is not only the volcanoes of Timanfaya, but it is also something more. Although the first impression was, most likely – surprise and even a little fear; it seemed that there was not any life as if it had hit another planet.
The opportunity to touch the lava, to go through the volcano, to smell its characteristic smell is something unreal … It was terribly unfortunate that you cannot get out of the bus for at least a few minutes in the Timanfaya National Park! It is preserved.
So, never fear traveling and to explore our earth, it is so beautiful everywhere.

Yes, you may have heard of the New Zealand recent tragedy on White Island, an active volcano, where 17 people have died, 2 people missing and some are in hospital with severe burns.
We have Rotorua where you have geysers and such. The earth has a thin crust.
Great scenery but questions are asked about White Island as a place of tourism. ..Mind you where I live we sit on 62 dormant volcanos that can go up at any time.
