Even if it is illegal, sidewalk vendors have the temerity to sell during the weekend. Their reason is that their family will get hungry if they don’t sell. What’s going for them are the customers that buy since their prices are lower than the legitimate market vendors who pay rent and tax.

There are not sidewalk vendors where I live.
