Cristiano Ronaldo is 32 years old and will soon start a soccer retirement. In this world championship he was very good in the group, but in the eighth finals he was unable to take the team to the quarter finals. Uruguay, Suarez and Cavani were too strong. Many believe that this is his last championship.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a fav. I like him make his or her own choices.
He was very good, indeed, enough to make the market go crazy for him. 🙂
However, I still see teams as such, groups made of 11 players, plus coach, not one single individual. I wouldn’t blame Ronaldo for not entering the quarter finals.
I think he should be allowed to play the next World Cup and that would be his last one. It may also depend on what he’ll do at the next Euro Cup.
In the meanwhile I expect other players from Portugal to stand out and be a good replacement.
But he will be 34 years old. Can he play good enough or somebody else should get chance?
He might not play all the time, so he leaves room to other players, but I’m not sure he’ll be too old to give up completely.
Maybe he should be only in coach team as advisor. Not as player.
Here is another random answer from some one who doesn’t understand the sport. I think he should play for whoever pays him the most!
Than he should leave national team since the biggest part of money comes from clubs.
I am a Cristiano Ronaldo fan, he is essential in Portuguese team.
I hope coach will agree with you.
