We all know I just might be a little too country. Still there are some interesting things to share that you may only know if you are from the “country” or read a lot. When I was in 1st grade we were asked to write a paragraph about why some of the sheep have a bell.
Even at that young age I wanted to be able to complete the assignment. So even though I didn’t know why at the point I invented an answer.
Here it is just as I wrote it.
“Sheeps who have to where bells are the ones that do not listen to their Mom. They get lost so they have to where it so the Mom can find them.”
The more accurate answer is the ones who wear are the leaders and the dogs are trained to tell by the tone of the bell if the sheep is in trouble.

Grandpa ended up in the hospital a few times from not following his own advice.
My grandfather was a sheep rancher, so I know a little about sheep, especially to stay away from the rams!
That is some pretty important advice.
