I often walk along the river Kokra where we also have a sports park. I was walking a few days ago when a game was taking place on the football field.
Rapa Sports Park is located right next to Kokra. There is also a small log cabin, a children’s playground and plenty of sports areas for volleyball, tennis, and football. The river Kokra flows on the left side, and there are benches along the way if you want to rest a bit on a walk.
There is also a bar in the Rapa Sports Park where you can have a cold drink, have a coffee, or book a picnic spot with a barbecue and under a covered canopy. All this in the immediate vicinity of Kokra and sports fields (tennis, volleyball, football, bowling, basketball).

Yes, I often walk around this park, drink a cup of coffee. Then I continue walking along the river or through the woods.

We had a lot of visitors immediately after the opening of the park.
i walked around my 10-mile track yesterday – not a single person (but it was really hot).
The lake was empty yesterday but my longer trail passes by the lake entrance and it was packed for father’s day!
This park sounds like a wonderful place to practice some sports.
You are right. The sports park is always very visited. Some are recreational and some are seriously training.
It’s good to have some physical activity outdoors.
