This guy came today to have lunch on my balcony. I thought he likes the nectar of my lemon flowers, but as far as I can see, today he wanted a little meat. Jumping spiders are active hunters, taking full advantage of their ability to jump very quickly on prey. This tiny creature (no more than 4 mm long) jumped just as I was trying to photograph it, and caught a winged insect. It is not the first time I catch such a scene, when a spider attacks an insect, but it is the first time I see a jumping spider while hunting. It is impressive and unpleasant at the same time.
