Sailboat on Lake Michigan on a Cloudy Day, Chicago, Illinois – Orton Version (2009-06-29 19-23-35b)
The photo was taken at Montrose Harbor in Lincoln Park in Chicago, Illinois.
I used a Panasonic DMC-FZ50 camera to take the photo. Editing was done on the JPG with Luminar 3. I used the Develop filter to adjust the color temperature and increase the contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks and clarity. I used the Tone filter to lower the SmartTone and added the Accent-AI, AI Sky Enhancer, Details Enhancer, Dehaze and Denoise filters. Next I used the Cross Processing filter with the ‘Tokyo’ option. Lastly I added the Orton filter.

I have enjoyed the sailboat last year and I was very much scared
When I was on one, the water was very calm so I wasn’t concerned. If it was rough water I would have been screaming for my mother.
