This is a rosy starling high up on the tree. These birds have shiny black wings and back while the rest of them is rosy. These are noisy birds, their food consists of grains , nectar and insects. They cause a significant amount of harm to standing crops as these noise bird come in huge groups to feed on them.
The roost in huge colonies on trees and they make a lot of noise before they settle down for the night. These are nosier than the mynas here.

I am reading about this bird on wikipedia as I had never heard of them. Very interesting.
I have seen many starlings but not sure about this one. I am always bird watching in my yard.
I see this bird for the first time. She is beautiful but also a little annoying.
Apparently, we have it here but I haven’t seen it. Since the trees have leaves my bird watching is mostly listening to birds.

Actually there are hundreds of varieties of starlings, these aren’t so common here. Am I ? I didn’t notice it.
