I am running away! I am headed for a quick trip north. I will make a quick visit to the park, see family, ride horses, sing some songs, enjoy my grandchildren, spend time with friends and laugh a lot. It’s only a couple days and sometimes a couple days is all that you need.
I am not going to sign into a computer the entire time. The break for electronics and the norm is a welcome one. There are times when stepping away really is the best option.I am not leaving you with nothing to read. At last count I had 1,213 total posts. Surely there are some you missed ?.

Every Saturday I am away from all technology. I don’t even turn on or off lights. This is because I am an Orthodox Jew We spend the day praying and speak face to face with family and friends.
When I get away my online time is very much reduced and usually takes a different turn. For example, when my wife and I got away in June, we couldn’t watch the Cubs on TV so we used MLB’s At Bat app to follow the games.
I choose to make time for myself and for the family without any gadget or the internet, at least four days a month.
I am doing the same in a few days. Enjoy the moments!
